Supplier relationship management
The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Glossary of procurement terms, defines supplier relationship management (SRM) as the: ‘Process for identifying all interactions with key suppliers and then managing them in a way that increases the value from the relationship for both parties.’
It defines a supplier relationship manager (SRM) as: ‘The role responsible for developing and maintaining supplier relationships.’
